FORD BRONCO DR IN BEAUTIFUL MYSTICHROME HAS JUST BEEN PUT UP FOR SALE

Not long ago, a seller put a Ford Bronco DR up for sale on Facebook Marketplace before the offering completely disappeared. This indicated how much people might decide to ask for this ultra-rare Multimatic Motorsports Baja racing machine. But if you set your sights on getting one, all hope is not lost. Another Ford Bronco DR has been put up for sale, this time on Bring a Trailer.

Ford Bronco DR For Sale: Details

If you’ve seen the Bronco Raptor compared to any other standard Broncos, you’d know it looks like it’s on steroids. However, the Bronco DR somehow manages to put even the Raptor to shame with its stance, exterior design, and an assortment of features that take its off-road capability far beyond what the Bronco Raptor offers. According to the listing, this particular SUV is number 13 of 50, and while the auction notes that the mileage is “unknown,” the SUV appears to be undriven. It comes with the original protective cover for its two Recaro bucket seats and even features the optional Baja package, which includes rock lights, LED light bars, and, according to Bring a Trailer, sirens. The base price for the DR was $295,000, but this one has been optioned up to an overall cost of $393,405.

What makes this Ford Bronco DR stand out the most is the paint option it has been coated with; Mustang fans will recognize it as Mystichrome, a color-changing paint that was offered on the 2004 Mustang Cobra. The option adds $27,500 to this particular vehicle’s overall build cost. Who knew you could put that on a race truck?

Speaking of, Multimatic only built 50 of these Ford Bronco DR race trucks, which were likely intended to participate in off road motorsport, and not to be flipped. Yet, to get one second hand, means you’ll have to shell out a pretty penny for one, especially if it’s as unique and highly equipped as this number 13 example is. That said, it’s certainly a conversation piece and appears to be a total blast to drive over desert dunes and rugged terrain if you’re willing to take something this expensive to get some dirt in the rims.
