2025 FORD MAVERICK WILL INCLUDE TECHNOLOGY UPDATES

The Ford Maverick is a spectacular truck; its compact size is perfect for most families, and thanks to its incredible capability, it’s a small but mighty machine. Not to mention that it’s (relatively) cheap, especially when compared to how much new vehicles tend to be in this day and age. The car is in high demand, and even despite adding an extra shift to increase production, Ford still struggles to catch up with the vehicle’s popularity. But it doesn’t seem that having already found a winning formula is about to stop the Blue Oval from upgrading the truck by giving it a bigger infotainment screen as part of its upcoming mid-cycle refresh. Yes, it’s already time for the Maverick to get a refresh!

2025 Ford Maverick Refresh: Details

Spy photos recently captured by The Drive showcase a Ford Maverick with heavy camouflage at the front and back, indicating that there will be some changes to the exterior appearance for the 2025 model refresh. The most notable discovery during the photo shoot was that the Maverick would receive an upsized screen that would do away with the 8-inch display. All Mavericks sold from the base XL model to the top-of-the-line Lariat have used this screen. Whether the larger screen will be exclusive to the higher-end models or if it’s a change that will be seen across the lineup, we don’t know.

2024 Ford Ranger preproduction model shown. Available late summer 2023. Actual production vehicle may vary.

This screen could be the 10.1-inch display found in the 2024 Ford Ranger, which means it could be vertically oriented. That alone could seriously alter the Maverick’s interior feel as the current screen is modestly sized, like the rest of the truck. That means the 2025 Ford Maverick could be losing its small cubby to the right of the screen, but that’s a bit difficult to tell with the spy photos.

As for the rest of the 2025 Ford Maverick refresh, we may have to wait a bit longer before it’s revealed what Ford has decided to do to alter the front fascia and rear. Something must be different for them to give the pickup some serious coverings. But for now, what do you think of the Ford Maverick getting a bigger screen?
