The Challenge has been airing for almost three decades and the series is still running to this day. Season 39 is in full swing. And, this February MTV also brings something different to screens for fans of the show. After all the seasons it’s been airing, The Challenge has created many legends. The new Home Turf spin-off revisits some icons including Darrell Taylor.
As Darrell appears in The Challenge: Home Turf episode 4 fans are convinced he “doesn’t age.” He first appeared on reality TV taking part in Road Rules: Campus Crawl in 2002. Darrell later joined MTV‘s The Gauntlet at the age of 24. During Home Turf he reflects on his time on the show and some of his major wins.
How old is Darrell Taylor from The Challenge?
The Challenge legend Darrell was born on November 4, 1979.
He’s now 44 years old and first broke into the reality TV world two decades ago.
Darrell’s Home Turf episode has some fans taking to X (Twitter) to call him “…such a respectable guy” as he looks back at his many wins on The Challenge.
Another wrote on his YouTube episode: “…This dude Darrell don’t age, man.”
Darrell says the ‘game has changed’
Since 2002, Darrell has been a reality TV star.
He went on to appear in The Gauntlet, then The Inferno in 2004.
Reflecting on his “young carefree days,” Darrell took viewers down memory lane. He took part in Inferno II in 2005 and said it was one of his “most entertaining seasons.”
Darrell later went on to star in Fresh Meat in Australia in 2006. He picked Aviv as his partner and had a “feeling” they’d win together.
He’s appeared in 10 seasons of the show and won four consecutively. Looking back at the more recent Challenge series’, Darrell said: “…the game has changed” from his early days on the show.
He’s the only contestant to ever win four seasons in a row, and when asked if he’s finished with the franchise at 44, Darrell said: “Hell no.”
He’s settled down now
In the middle of his Challenge career, Darrell took a hiatus, went traveling and “had fun.”
Per his dad’s advice, he decided to buy a house and later settled down.
Nowadays, he’s married to wife Milasent. The two met at the gym in 2007, and now she’s Darrell’s wife and mother of his children.
They have two children, a daughter who was born in 2010, and a son born in 2012. Darrell’s son was born prematurely, something he recalls being the “scariest time of his life.”
These days, he’s a gym owner and personal trainer who has over 120,000 followers on Instagram (@darrell_taylor_lb4lb).
