President Biden To Welcome Czech Prime Minister Fiala For Talks On Strengthening US-Czech Relations

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre confirmed that President Biden is slated to host Prime Minister Petr Fiala of Czechia at the White House on April 15. The purpose of Fiala’s visit with President Biden is to bolster the US-Czech relationship.

During the meeting, Fiala and Biden will express their solidarity with Ukraine following Russia’s invasion of the country over two years ago. They will also reaffirm the commitment of the United States and Czechia to NATO, emphasizing the alliance’s role in ensuring collective security. This year marks Czechia’s twenty-fifth anniversary in the NATO Alliance.

The discussions between President Biden and Prime Minister Fiala will encompass various shared priorities, including addressing security challenges, exploring economic opportunities beneficial to both American and Czech citizens, and promoting democratic values that unite the two nations.
