‘Massive’: Chris Sutton names the game Arsenal have coming up that’s tougher than Man City away

Arsenal are top of the Premier League right now, and fans across the country will have the game against Man City at the end of this month circled on their calendars.

Indeed, for the second season in a row, Arsenal’s trip to the Etihad towards the end of the season could ultimately decide who wins the Premier League title.

However, according to Chris Sutton, speaking on BBC 606, this game against City isn’t in fact the most pivotal game Arsenal have between now and the end of the campaign.

Sutton says that Arsenal have a tougher game coming up next month, claiming that the match against Tottenham towards the end of the season could end up being a bigger banana skin.

Tottenham a tougher game than Man City for Arsenal

Sutton spoke about the upcoming north London derby.

“I think you have a tougher game on the 27 of April, Spurs away, Man City is a massive game of course, but did you watch Spurs?” Sutton said.

“I’ll tell you why, when you’re in the title running, when you get closer to the end, can you imagine how desperate and how intense, squeaky bum time.”

Huge

Whether or not Tottenham is a tougher game for Arsenal than City away is up for debate, but one thing is for sure, this could be the biggest north London derby of all-time.

Indeed, this game could decide the fates of both Arsenal’s title challenge and Spurs’ push for the top four, and both teams may be nervous wrecks heading into these games.

Derby games where everything is on the line can often be unpredictable, and Arsenal could well end up slipping up against Spurs towards the end of the season.

Make no mistake about it, Arsenal won’t be able to win the league without facing a few tough challenges.
