Drones attacked Moscow, as well as Russia’s Kursk, Belgorod, Tula, Voronezh, Nizhny Novgorod, Bryansk, Leningrad, and Orel oblasts.

Russia claims to have intercepted all 25 drones, though local administration officials provided a clearer picture of the results of the massive drone attack.
Massive Lukoil refinery in Nizhny Novgorod hit
The Lukoil refinery in Nizhny Novgorod, one of the largest in Russia, was hit in a drone strike and forced to stop operations, confirmed Nizhny Novgorod Governor, Gleb Nikitin. He confirmed the strike on the refinery in the city of Kstovo and the fire “at one of the oil processing facilities”, as well as that stoppage of operations due to the “incident.”
The work stoppage at the massive facility was corroborated by a source at the enterprise, Russian news outlet Kommersant-Pryvolzhye said. Drones attacked the plant around 4:00 a.m. MSK, with at least one hit recorded.
A fire train was brought in at 8:25 a.m. to deal with the massive blaze, with the fire being “localized” at 9:01 a.m. and extinguished at 10:57 a.m., the news outlet claimed.
“A fire train takes part in extinguishing a fire that broke out in an industrial zone in Kstov, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, after a UAV attack,” Russian news agency TASS reported.
The target was the AVT-6 facility, which provides about 53% of the processing for the facility, reported Reuters. The plant processes about 15 million tons of oil every year, or about 5% of Russia’s entire total.

Oil spill after oil storage facility hit twice in Orel
An oil storage facility in Orel was reportedly also struck in a drone hit, resulting in a large fire. A 2,000 cubic meter tank was damaged in the strike, causing an oil leak, mass media reported at 11:12 MSK.
“A 2,000 cubic meter tank containing 150 tons of gasoline was damaged as a result of a drone attack at JSC Orelnefteprodukt,” Russian Telegram channel Astra reported, referencing its own sources.
“A leak of petroleum products was detected.”
Two production buildings on the territory of the enterprise were damaged in a second drone strike, occurring about 90 minutes later.
The "elimination of the UAV night attack results" was announced in Orel at 10:05 a.m.

City administration building hit in Belgorod
An attack drone crashed into the city administration building in Belgorod at 1:33 p.m. MSK, the Belgorod Oblast Governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov said, adding that “two women were injured as a result, windows in the building were shattered, and the facade was cut."
Thermal Power Plant hit in St. Petersburg
Russian media reported a fire near the Southern Thermal Power Plant in St. Petersburg at 11:06 a.m. MSK.
The local Emergency Situations Ministry office claimed that "a two-story warehouse building is on fire, pallets have caught fire", reported Fontanka, who said the fire was 80 square meters (681 square feet).

"There is no threat of spreading to neighboring buildings."
"The smoke that has arisen does not pose any danger and is a consequence of Emergency Services work," said Orel Oblast Governor Andrey Klychkov.
Drone neutralized on outskirts of Moscow
A drone headed for Moscow was shot down on the outskirts, in the Ramensky district, Moscow Mayor, Serhey Sobyanin said at 8:13 a.m. MSK, adding there were no casualties in the incident.
Kremlin stays silent on the massive wave of attacks
The Kremlin “reacted” to a mass drone attack in Russia’s oblasts at 12:54 p.m. MSK.
Kremlin press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, had nothing more to say than "the [Russian] military is on alert, the special military operation [how Russia refers to its war of aggression on Ukraine] is ongoing, the military is doing everything necessary."
