'Highly addictive' TV show sees 12 fugitives 'fight to bitter end' for £100k

Some of the Hunted 2024 cast are so consumed by the competition they can’t take a joke, while others are confident their team of two has what it takes to cruise to the finish line just fine. An all-new batch of episodes is set to kick off from Sunday, March 17 and in the words of the Hunters: “This is on!”.

Judging by the Hunted 2024 trailer, some of the contestants “feel like they’ve wet themselves” and some are “chilling.” It seems the show’s Hunters are super savage this season as one describes a duo as being as “sharp as two marbles wrapped in a sponge.” Another contestant is described as looking like a “younger, sweatier version of Piers Morgan,” which has fans hysterical on X (Twitter).

Meet the Hunted 2024 cast

There are 12 fugitives taking part in the fresh season of Hunted this March.

  • Alex and Jack
  • Cathy and Annida
  • Christine and Munya
  • Jaxon and Nicola
  • Sade and Cameron
  • Steve and Beth

The six pairs are all going head-to-head in a bid to bag themselves the cash prize of £100,000.

Returning for its seventh series, Hunted has some competitors “running around like headless chickens,” as they try and outwit the Hunters – some of which are former and serving police.

Alex and Jack

First up, Alex and Jack are taking part in this year’s Hunted series.

They’re best friends who both live in London and they’re 27 years old.

Alex works as a financial consultant and Jack is a product developer.

While Alex tells Channel 4 he wasn’t bothered about the show’s cash prize, Jack said: “…all I’m going to be thinking about is the money. In that very moment, I’m going to forget about the experience, forget about where I am, forget about what I might learn over the next few days: All I’ll be thinking about is the 100 grand.”

Cathy and Annida

Also hoping to bag themselves a share of a £100,000 cash prize is another duo – Cathy and Annida.

Annida is 55 and Cathy is 56 years old. The two are also best friends of around 20 years who live in West Sussex with their partners.

Care home activity coordinator Cathy is ready to get competitive and said she can draw on her life experiences to help in the competition, she tells Channel 4: “Well, I’m used to pain and being uncomfortable because I’ve been married three times.”

Aesthetic technician, Annida, added how she may “need a nap in the afternoon” to be able to give the show her best.

Christine and Munya

Married couple Christine and Munya are ready to do all they can to win Hunted series 7.

The two are 48 years old and live in Sheffield.

Christine and Munya could definitely be a force to be reckoned with as Munya is an Ex- British Army Officer.

He says he can use strategic thinking and his “ability to live outdoors” to help them in the competition.

Christine, a teacher, admits it will be tough to survive on the show. She says she’ll miss her “Tempur mattress” most because of her “…dodgy back, after a couple of serious road traffic accidents a few years ago.”

Jaxon and Nicola

Jaxon, 28, and Nicola, 26, are siblings from Wigan.

They’re both prison officers who believe they already have mindsets that are “half fugitive, half hunter.”

Jaxon has a background working in the military and explains how she wants to “…raise awareness for transgender people and sort of normalize the topic. I’m 18 months into transitioning from female to male myself, so I’ve just been trying to be visible for people and provide that education and awareness.”

Nicola adds how she was keen to take part in the challenge with her sibling and also said: “I feel like I’m misjudged a lot in my appearance, and I just want to do something to prove people wrong.”

Sade and Cameron

Next up is a mother-and-son duo from Nottingham.

Sade, a property business owner, is 36 and her son, Cameron, who works in retail sales, is 19 years old.

The two are in it for the £100K, but Sade also added how she wants to have a “fun life experience with my son before he leaves me forever,” as Cameron is moving out of her home.

Combining Sade’s “logic” and Cameron’s “physical aspect,” the two believe they’re a team not to be messed with.

Steve and Beth

Finally, a father-daughter-duo also hoping to outsmart the hunters are Steve and Beth.

Steve, 60, runs a construction company, and Beth, 23, is a quantity surveyor.

While many of the other competitors are keen to take home the cash prize, Steve explains how he and Beth would donate their winnings to charity.

He’s eager to show Beth what “roughing it” looks like as he thinks she has ‘had a very privileged life.”

Steve is another contestant with some past military experience, and according to Beth, she and her dad both have “a very strong-willed mentality, and would both fight to the bitter end.”
