Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson has raved about Gabriel and has noted what makes the 26-year-old Brazil international defender a special player.
Nelson said about Gabriel in training on Sky Sports: “No one can go near him, man. He is one of those rash players, but his intensity is good.
“On top of that, he has got technical ability, in the air, he is good. He has scored this season, he talks – that’s what you want from your centre-back.”
My View: Gabriel is a top-class defender
In my view, Arsenal defender Gabriel is one of the best players in his position in the Premier League. He is 26 now and is at the top of his game.
Gabriel has progressed and developed a lot at Arsenal since 2020. He has become more mature as a player and is flourishing under manager Mikel Arteta.
The defender has also added more facets to his game. He scores goals now. He has found the back of the net four times in the Premier League this campaign.
