A school has held a pastoral programme conference on its house system.
Kennet School recently hosted what it called ‘The Kennet Way’, a highly anticipated event in its calendar.
The school said the conference provided guests with an in-depth exploration of why a house system serves as the cornerstone of the school's ethos.
Deputy headteacher Max Gayler took to the stage to speak about the impact of the house system on fostering a cohesive culture and strong connections within the school community.
Participants gained a profound understanding of how this system acts as a ‘vital catalyst’ for guiding and inspiring pupils to achieve success across various aspects of their academic journey, cocurricular engagement and overall personal wellbeing.
The conference is a part of Connect with Kennet, an initiative aimed at fostering engagement and collaboration within the school community.
