Jimmy’s secret was spilled by Chelsea on Love is Blind, despite promising to keep his history to themselves. She revealed on a podcast how she “wanted the same respect” she gave him.
Love is Blind season 6 closely followed Chelsea and Jimmy’s journey after his proposal. During their Netflix relationship, Chelsea often wanted reassurance – but later told one of Jimmy’s secrets on camera.
Chelsea shares Jimmy’s secret
Jimmy’s secret was shared by Chelsea on Love is Blind. She brought up Presnell’s sexual history on camera after promising she’d keep it between themselves, but says it was “a matter of respect” for her.
She spoke about his past relationship with his female friend, before Jimmy called things off right after. He claimed it was due to a lack of “trust” when she revealed one of his deepest “darkest secrets.”
Chelsea admitted to feeling some “regret” about revealing the secret that Jimmy slept with one of his close female friends, which she spoke about on The Viall Files on March 19.
She ‘feels bad’ for outing his past
Chelsea has apologised to the woman involved in Jimmy’s former hook-up. She told The Viall Files, “I’ve apologized to her, I feel so sad that I brought her sex life into the world.”
She added, “It’s not even the fact that they had a relationship, it’s that I wasn’t getting the respect that I was giving him. What bothers me is that there were zero boundaries, and there was zero respect.”
“Where do we draw the line? We’re trying to get married. If you’re not willing to take a step back, do I say ‘yes’ to you? Do I say ‘no’ to you? Are we going to be in couple’s therapy with her?” she continued.
Chelsea and Jimmy dated briefly
Chelsea and Jimmy dated for four days after filming wrapped, despite the two calling off their wedding on-screen. They hooked up during those few short-lived days, Chelsea admitted.
“We tried for four days, it was the same,” she said. “He made me dinner one night, he took me to my first baseball game, but nothing changed.” Chelsea added how the cameras were “too much pressure”.
As for whether or not they’d ever date again, or if they’re currently dating, Blackwell reiterated they’re just friends. “I have been told ‘no’ multiple times from him so we do not need to do that again,” she said.
