One person is believed to have suffered serious injuries after a two-vehicle crash.
Police were called to a collision on the A143 Melford Road, in Sudbury, at around 3.20pm.
Firefighters and ambulance are also at the scene.
The road has been closed both ways and, according to the AA maps, heavy traffic is building up in the area.
