Report: 18-year-old Chelsea youngster has already impressed Mauricio Pochettino in training

Reports have claimed that one youngster at Chelsea has already made quite the impression in his limited appearances for the club.

According to the Evening Standard, Mauricio Pochettino has been very impressed by a player who is actually yet to make his first team debut up to now.

Pochettino has already handed a number of youngsters at the club this season, with it normally coming off the back of an injury crisis.

One player supporters are yet to see feature is Tyrique George, despite hearing good things about him for the whole season now.

It was hinted that he might be involved in their last Premier League game against Newcastle United, with him not featuring for the youth side in their fixture at the weekend.

However, he was nowhere to be seen in the squad, and was also not present for the FA Cup quarter-final against Leicester City at the weekend.

With that said, it seems as if some of the first team players at the club are already aware of his talents. Noni Madueke in particular hinted that people would soon be aware of just how good he is.

Now, reports have stated that he has also already made an impression on the boss, with Pochettino well aware of the player they have at their disposal.

Despite the likes of Alfie Gilchrist being given multiple opportunities to impress this season under the Argentine, there are multiple young stars who will be thinking they deserve an opportunity to show their skills too.

The likes of Leo Castledine have gained a lot of praise for what he is doing in the academy right now, however has struggled to convert that into any first team chances.

This is despite him already having the backing of club legend John Terry, who has come out and praised him greatly already.
