Stormy Daniels told "The View" on Thursday supporters of Donald Trump's are becoming more violent and threatening as his hush money trial nears.

"It's the weirdest thing to be in this situation where time is kind of not real, and the sad part about it, or the tricky part, is that I had started to do really well. Things had gotten quiet," she said about her life.

"I had moved, you know, my daughter was able to go back to school and things like that," she explained.

Daniels, an adult movie actress, is at the center of the hush money trial of Trump in which he's accused of organizing a hush money payment to her to hide an extramarital affair. The charges involve election interference because prosecutors claim he was trying to keep the information from voters in the 2016 general election.

The trial is set to begin April 15.

"I was just telling ["The View" co-host] Joy [Behar], it's like 2018 all over again, except now they're more vicious because they've been encouraged and commended," she said of Trump's supporters.

Daniels is also the subject of a new documentary released this week. Behar noted that the documentary reveals the threats and her fears about her daughter's safety.

"And now the threats have gone up tenfold. Even Michael Cohen is warning you to be careful. He's concerned about your safety. So, tell me about that. Are you worried too, or is it worse?" Behar asked.

Daniels agreed that it is worse now.

"So, in the past, you know, the first time around, there was more — there was like the frequency, and the amount was a lot more. but it was more, you know, superficial, just like calling me names, mostly associated with my job or that I was just a gold digger or somehow profiting off of all this, which — pause for a second," she stopped to note that she didn't get paid for being part of the documentary.

"There were times where things were quiet," Daniels continued."But, initially, it was about, oh, she's just out for the money, or she's a gold digger, or she's a slut. I'm like an award-winning slut. But this time around, it's not as many. But they're worse."

She explained that those making threats aren't even hiding anymore.

"I had people text me from their actual phone number and I'm just like, of course, you're a Trump supporter because you're not even good at being bad," Daniels quipped.

Sunny Hostin alleged Trump has "given permission" to his supporters to target his foes.

"They've been rewarded," said Daniels. "I said to some interviewer they're more like suicide bombers this time around where they honestly truly believe that they are being patriotic and that I am, like, the devil."
