I’m a big fan of Oral-B iO brushes. The iO4 is my daily brush of choice and I’ve tested a number of models in the range and think they deliver among the best brushing performance around (my dentist has no complaints either).
But once you’ve splashed out on the brush, you’ll need to keep buying the replacement heads – and these are far from cheap.
I’ve tested generic, compatible brush heads and I can tell you that the Oral-B branded ones are much better. Right now, you can pick up a four-pack of Oral-B iO Series Ultimate Clean replacement brush heads in black in the Amazon Spring Sale for just $26.
If you take a look on the product page on Camelcamelcamel, you’ll see that their average price is $40.82 and the last time the brush heads hit a price as low as this was January 2023, so it’s well worth picking them up now while they’re on sale.

Oral-B has its own deal running at the moment, which is $49.99 for a six-pack, or $8.33 each, instead of $6.50 each if you get the Amazon deal.
Don’t hang around though – this deal won’t last long. In fact, the price has already shifted since I spotted the discount.
If you’re in the UK, the deal isn’t quite as good. Amazon’s best discount is for four Ultimate Clean heads for £24.99.
Check Camelcamelcamel and you’ll find that this isn’t the lowest it’s been. The best ever price is £23, but it’s still below the average price of £27.27.
