'I have been following': Brazilian set to face England tonight shares what he really thinks of Arsenal this season

Arsenal are playing some excellent football under Mikel Arteta and it seems to be catching the eye not just in England.

The Gunners sit top of the pile in the Premier League right now. They are in a big three-way fight for the title and have a huge chance of winning it.

Of course, the international break gives Arsenal and Mikel Arteta time to take a step back and regroup before going again from next weekend.

Arsenal have a number of players available for international selection. And ahead of Brazil v England tonight, former Man City defender Danilo Luiz has admitted he’s been keeping a close eye on Arsenal this season.

Danilo says he’s been so impressed with Arsenal and their Brazilian contingent

Speaking in an interview shared by Hayters TV, Danilo said that he has been watching Arsenal a lot and is impressed with what he sees.

“The three Gabriel’s, you know Martinelli, Magalhaes and also Jesus. They are important players for the national team even if they weren’t all in the squad. I hope they can recover. I have been following a little bit you know, Arsenal, this season. They play so good, and I know the coach Arteta, he is smart, with good energy. It’s a great team to watch and to learn,” Danilo said.

Arsenal showing their class

The Premier League is obviously the most watched league in the world and Danilo has links to a few Arsenal players. But this does just show that they are catching the eye around the world.

Danilo is currently at Juventus and the fact he is sitting up and taking notice from afar suggests Mikel Arteta is getting something right at Arsenal.

Of course, trophies are needed to ensure his work brings rewards. But as it stands, he is well on track to do that.

Brazil v England tonight will be a real test of how good some Premier League players really are.

A convincing win, then, could send a message out that this current Premier League really is as good as it’s ever been.
