Ukrainian military repelled 15 attacks by Russian occupiers in the Bakhmut sector, holding positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson region. Defense aviation struck targets in 10 enemy troop concentration areas, including weaponry, military equipment, and one enemy depot, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian attacks
During the past day, there were 75 combat clashes.
Overall, over the past day, the enemy delivered 14 missile and 106 aviation strikes, conducted 99 shelling operations with reactive multiple rocket launch systems on the positions of our troops and residential areas. Unfortunately, due to Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population.
During the night, Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine, using UAVs of the Shahed type and various types of cruise missiles. Details regarding this attack are being clarified.
Locations hit by aviation strikes:
- Seredyna-Buda, Vorozhba in the Sumy region;
- Zemlianky, Potykhonove, Bologivka, Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region;
- Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region;
- Terny, Yampolivka, Rozdolivka, Chasiv Yar, Dachne, Druzhba, Umanske, Semenivka, Novobakhmutivka, Zhdanove, Ocheretyne, Berdychi, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Urozhainne, Vuhledar, Staromaiorske, Makarivka in the Donetsk region;
- Robotyne, Malynivka, Mala Tokmachka, Stepove in the Zaporizhzhia region;
- Tokarivka, Tiahynka in the Kherson region.
Approximately 140 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions were under artillery fire.
Situation at fronts
In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains without significant changes.
In the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage activities to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of mine and explosive barriers along the state border.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy did not engage in offensive (assault) actions.
In the Lyman direction, our troops repelled 8 enemy attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, in the Luhansk region, and Terny, Yampolivka, Rozdolivka, Vesele, Spirne, in the Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, tried to break through our defenses.
In the Bakhmut direction, our defenders repelled 15 enemy attacks in the areas of Klischiivka, Bohdanivka, and Ivanivske, in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 13 enemy attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, Yasnobrodivka and Nevelske, the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the defense forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas near the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Pobeda, Kostiantynivka, and Urozhaine, where the enemy, supported by aviation, attempted 34 times to breach the defense of our troops.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, attacked our defenders' positions 4 times near Robotyne, in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy persists in its intention to dislodge our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnipro River. During the past day, there were 2 assaults on our troops' positions.
Meanwhile, our troops continue active operations to inflict losses on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
