Yes, a healthy relationship is all about finding a balance, but a TikTok couple’s “hot take” on things they don’t allow each other to do, and their mutual acceptance has gathered immense reactions for all the wrong reasons.
Every relationship is unique to the people involved in it. Most couples believe in setting appropriate boundaries, but TikTok user Taylor Donoghue and her boyfriend Jonathan have gone viral for their rather unrealistic expectations of each other.

Taylor called her viral video a “hot take” but just her opinion. She listed 5 things she would “never allow her boyfriend to do.
Not being allowed to have a girl best friend was at the top of the list. Being able to track his location all the time and splitting bills were among the other rules as the content creator doesn’t believe the man has to take care of all expenses.
However, she wouldn’t allow him to like pictures of women clad in “bikinis” or provocative clothes, and going to strip clubs was a big no-no. Whereas, Jonathan said he would never allow his lady to get lip fillers while explaining the reason behind it.

He expects her to keep him posted about her whereabouts when she’s out and doesn’t allow her to “flirt” with men in a bar while accepting drinks from them for free is alright still.
Not letting his girlfriend like Instagram pictures of shirtless men is among the things he despises, but found no issues with how she carried herself.
The couple did not just list out things they never allow each other to do, but justified each of them, thus prompting more reactions from their viewers.

While neither Taylor nor her boyfriend have issues with the list they’ve made for themselves, their viewers think their relationship is too “rigid” and lacks boundaries.
Some of them voiced out their criticism about the couple’s choice to know about each other’s whereabouts all the time. A few others pointed out that having a list of sorts itself is a “major red flag.”
