The Ukrainian Air Force successfully intercepted 8 out of 9 Russian drones that targeted the southern region of Ukraine overnight on March 25, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

"Tonight, our sky defenders managed to take down 8 out of 9 Shahed attack drones, which the enemy launched from Cape Chauda (Crimea)," the statement reads.

Mobile defense units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were deployed to repel the aerial attack.

"The Shaheds were neutralized within the territories of Mykolaiv and Odesa regions," said the Ukrainian Air Force.

Shelling in Odesa and Mykolaiv

Explosions were heard in Odesa during the night of March 25. Some districts reported power and water outages. Russian forces damaged energy infrastructure objects during the kamikaze drone attacks on Odesa and its surroundings. Specifically, DTEK reported that overnight, occupiers damaged one of the high-voltage energy facilities of Ukrenergo. As a result, residents of the Peresypskyi district of Odesa were left without electricity.

Regarding Mykolaiv, fires broke out due to the Russian Federation's attack. Eleven individuals sustained injuries, two of whom were hospitalized.
