Cameron Diaz is ‘feeling emotional’ after secretly welcoming her second baby with husband Benji Madden, a source has said.
The movie star, who welcomed daughter Raddix in 2019, now has son Cardinal, with the singer. The parents announced the birth of their son on Friday. The 51-year-old is said to be “very emotional” when she thinks about the “long journey to motherhood”, an insider has claimed.

The celebrity couple announced the arrival of their son, Cardinal, on Friday. Their bundle of joy comes four years after their daughter Raddix was born in December 2019.
Now a source has told People, the celebrity is over the moon with their family expanding to four.
The insider claims: “They were always hoping for a second baby, because they love being parents.
“For years, Cameron wanted to be a mom.
“She gets very emotional when she talks about the long journey to motherhood. She feels beyond lucky to now have two children”.
Cameron Diaz announced the news of their baby boy on Instagram.
The couple wrote: “We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden. He is awesome and we are all so happy he is here!
“For the kids’ safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures – but he’s really cute”.
“We are feeling so blessed and grateful,” they added. “Sending much love from our fam to yours. Best wishes and Good Afternoon!”
Time for a Hollywood party
The very next day after the news, the pair attending Hollywood star Rob Lowe’s 60th birthday party.
Diaz wore a black jacket over a black top, while the Good Charlotte music star chose a black denim jacket and baseball cap.
Cameron Diaz nor Madden have discussed their baby news further, including whether they welcomed the bundle of joy via surrogate or other avenues.
Fans have been sending support to the pair.
