'I would put': Graeme Souness shares who has the best manager right now...Tottenham or Arsenal

Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal all have managers in place who are highly regarded in world football at the moment.

Mikel Arteta has his Arsenal side top of the Premier League and having won an FA Cup with them, has tasted success.

Ange Postecoglou has impressed at Tottenham so far. Spurs are well in the mix for a top four spot and the Aussie has them playing good, attacking football.

Over at Chelsea, Mauricio Pochettino seems to divide opinion among supporters. But he is well-respected, having managed PSG and Tottenham prior.

But just who is the best manager out of the three? Well, Graeme Souness has had his say on that very matter today.

Who has the better manager out of Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea

Souness was presented with the question live on TalkSPORT this morning.

And when discussing the trio, Souness appeared to lean towards Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta when he gave his assessment of the state of play.

“I would put them all in the same bracket. Arteta has won an FA Cup and is doing a grand job as we speak, Pochettino is yet to win anything in the UK. Postecoglou, he’s not on the list yet. He’s got to win something but he’s done a very good job at Spurs,” Souness said.

Mikel Arteta needs to win the league for Arsenal

While Souness’ comments here are more than valid and he is right in that the Chelsea and Tottenham bosses have yet to win in England, Mikel Arteta is probably the one under most pressure.

Arsenal have spent a fortune backing Arteta. He’s now at a point where he simply cannot complain about his squad and with that, he needs to deliver success.

Yes, he has an FA Cup to his name but Arsenal need more. Arteta, then, has to deliver.

As for Postecoglou and Pochettino, well, they’re involved in different projects.

Tottenham are more than happy with the direction Postecoglou is taking the team. At Chelsea, there’s less pressure for now but that could ramp up next season.

For now, then, Arteta is probably the one just edging it, as Souness suggests.
