Chelsea interested in £15m player after starring on international duty, he wants Premier League move

One Brazilian player seems to have caught the attention of Chelsea following his country’s 1-0 win against England over the weekend.

England played Brazil at Wembley and were beaten after 17-year-old Endrick scored his first goal for his nation.

Endrick, who is set to link up with Real Madrid in the summer, could have actually joined Chelsea.

The Palmeiras forward revealed last year that the Blues were interested in him and he was open to a move to west London.

They have now missed out on him, but it looks like they could sign one of his Brazil team-mates, Athletico Paranaense goalkeeper Bento.

Chelsea interested in Bento

According to HITC, Chelsea are one of three Premier League clubs currently looking at Bento, who could cost £15m.

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest are the other two English outfits named.

The outlet claims that Bento is keen on a move to the Premier League and that the 24-year-old has admirers at Stamford Bridge.

He was able to shut England out when the Three Lions welcomed Brazil to Wembley on Saturday.

Who could Bento replace at Chelsea?

Chelsea already have first-choice and second-choice goalkeepers, so if the club sign Bento, you suspect that one of them will have to leave.

It would be an interesting dilemma because the Blues only signed Djordje Petrovic and Robert Sanchez last summer.

Right now, if one were to go, it would probably be the latter after losing his spot in the team to the former.

Sanchez got a chance to try and win it back after starting in Chelsea’s 4-2 win against Leicester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

However, the Spaniard did not stake much of a claim and was heavily criticised by talkSPORT’s Andy Jacobs for his display.

One of the goals he conceded was a crazy one after Axel Disasi put the ball into the back of his own net. Stuff like that will not help Sanchez as Chelsea weigh up bringing in another shot-stopper this summer.
