Harry Kane sends message to Declan Rice after Arsenal star captains England tonight

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has been a revelation for the Gunners since linking up with the north Londoners in a big-money move last summer.

The 25-year-old has helped take Arsenal up to another level, his world-class quality and consistency helping the Gunners go top of the Premier League table.

Rice‘s heroics have also helped Arsenal into the quarter-finals of the Champions League, with Bayern Munich now lying in wait.

And on Tuesday night, the Gunners star captained the England team on his 50th appearance for the Three Lions.

Rice led the team out against Belgium and delivered a solid performance for England, even though the result didn’t quite go their way.

Despite drawing 2-2 at Wembley, the Arsenal star did little wrong, using the ball well and boasting a 98 percent passing success rate.

After the match, Harry Kane – who didn’t feature for the Three Lions during the March international break due to injury – took to X to praise Rice.

What has Harry Kane said to Arsenal star Declan Rice?

The Bayern star congratulated Rice for reaching half a century of England caps and also wearing the captain’s armband on the night.

Kane also congratulated Brentford ace – and reported Arsenal target – Ivan Toney for scoring his first England goal.

It’s nice to hear Kane congratulate Rice for hitting the England caps milestone as well as getting the honour of captaining the Three Lions.

It’ll be exciting to see how Rice, Kane and co fare at Euro 2024 this summer, with arguably one of the strongest England selections we’ve had in years.
