According to a report by SportsBild, Liverpool are among the clubs interested in Marmoush, who would cost upwards of £52m, after making 21 goal contributions in all competitions so far for Frankfurt.
An Egyptian international, Marmoush would make a lot of sense for Alonso. He is extremely versatile who can play in a number of different roles upfront. Additionally, he’s also got the technical qualities to be a good fit for Alonso’s system, and he does a lot of work off the ball.
His constant energy and technical ability would make him the perfect Alonso signing, and signing Marmoush could be a very good move for Liverpool in the transfer window this summer.
