Russian attack on Dnipropetrovsk region: One casualty and injuries reported

Russian strikes on the Dnipropetrovsk region on March 27 and 28 resulted in one death and several injuries. In addition, high-rise buildings, the private sector, and vehicles were damaged, according to the National Police of Ukraine.

On March 27, the Russians fired artillery and sent drones at Nikopol, Marhanets, and Pokrovsk rural territorial communities. At night, the attacks on the city were repeated. One person was killed and three others were injured.

"A 55-year-old man was killed by Russian shell fragments near his house. Also, a 49-year-old woman was injured in the city when a drone was dropped - she was provided with the necessary medical care," the statement says.

Multi-story buildings, private houses, outbuildings, and cars were damaged as a result of a Russian attack, and power lines were cut. Walls and roofs, fences, and windows were destroyed in the buildings.

"Two residents were wounded as a result of the night shelling of the town: A 65-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman. They are under the supervision of doctors with shrapnel wounds," the National Police reports.

Russian attack on Ukraine March 27-28

Russian troops attacked Ukraine with Shahed drones and missiles last night from March 27 to 28.

The Ukrainian Air Force reports that the drones first flew into Ukrainian airspace from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation to the Sumy region, heading for Kharkiv. After a while, explosions were heard in Kharkiv.

Earlier it was reported that tonight, March 28, explosions were heard in Dnipro. An air alert was declared in the city and region.
