Kris Jenner has come under fire from her fans for her heavy use of filters after she shared a series of images alongside Mariah Carey.
Mariah is famously good friends with both Kris and her daughter Kim Kardashian and as the pop icon celebrated her 55th birthday on Wednesday the matriarch shared several pictures of her on Instagram to celebrate. Kris gushes over their friendship admitting she feels "blessed" to know Mariah as she posted the images of them on her grid.
She wrote: "Happy anniversary to my girl @mariahcarey!!! Wishing you a year filled with happiness, love, and laughter! I feel so grateful and blessed for our friendship, and I love you very much!! Happy anniversary!"

In the first snap the two women were seen beaming with delight as they posed together in a close-up selfie. A second image showed Kris, 68, and Mariah standing alongside US filmmaker David Geffen with Mariah wearing a black satin mini dress with sheer tights and ankle boots, and Kris opting for a sheer leopard print blouse and trousers co-ord.
In a third snap the two friends had opted for a super-glamorous look with Kris dressed in a lavish white lace robe with chiffon frills to the cuffs and neckline, while Mariah wore a black satin pinstripe robe with a open neckline to show her Dolce and Gabbana bra.
Mariah added another layer of glam to her look by donning a huge silver tiara on top of her big bouncy curled hair. The pair appeared to be on holiday in the photo with a golden sandy beach and pretty lights and lanterns behind them in the night-time snap.
Kris also showed off their motherly side with some throwback photos from a family Christmas with Mariah, Kris, Kim and some of the Kardashian grandchildren. Fans immediately took to the comments section to point out the "bad" editing they saw on each snap and criticise Kris for using so many filters when she is sharing images of herself with her fans.
One questioned: "Why all the time put filters? Stay natural you are beautiful." Another sarcastically quipped: "Awww the baby filter." A third wrote: "Filters are filtering the filters here." A fourth social media user commented: "Going hard on the filter. Looks so bad all this editing. Lay off it a bit please." A fifth posted: "It’s to the point where I can actually tell which FaceApp impression they all use."
