McDonald’s breakfast bagel is making a triumphant return, and this time it's in more stores

McDonald’s has pleased its customers by reviving the beloved breakfast bagel which was first discontinued in 2020.

Returning fast food products have a habit of being far more popular than items on the regular menu. For proof, you’d need only look at the popularity surrounding products like the Shamrock Shake, the Ghost Pepper McChicken, or the Spicy McNuggets.

They have popped up a few times since 2020

Back in 2022, the breakfast bagel was sighted at McDonald’s restaurants in Ohio, Virginia, and Philadelphia. Now it seems to be branching out further.

Local news outlets from across the nation have reported the breakfast bagel being available at locations in New Orleans, southern California, central Pennsylvania, St. Louis, and Nashville. Eat This also reported that New Jersey restaurants were also selling them.

The bagels currently come in bacon, egg, and cheese, sausage, egg, and cheese, and steak, egg, and cheese. Though the steak bagel comes with grilled onions, the rest of the bagels are comprised of a buttered bagel, folded egg, American cheese, and meat.
