They welcome Burnley on Saturday, with Mauricio Pochettino already getting a big win in this fixture away from home.

Here’sThe Chelsea Chronicle’s predicted side to take on the Clarets on Saturday.

Chelsea Predicted XI

Djordje Petrovic has easily established himself as the number one in goal right now, and this will continue on Saturday.

After missing the international break through illness, there will hopefully be a fresh Malo Gusto ready to start on the right of defence.

Axel Disasi has been near ever-present this season, and he will be called upon again at the weekend in the face of a lot of injuries to the defence.

Alongside him, Thiago Silva will be recalled to the starting side, as Levi Colwill and Trevoh Chalobah both remain sidelined.

An injury to Ben Chilwell will see Marc Cucurella start on the left, fresh off scoring his first goal for the club last time out.

Midfield

Moises Caicedo had a rare early finish to his international travels this week, and will be back in the starting side on Saturday.

The same cannot be said for Enzo Fernandez though, and Conor Gallagher will drop deeper to sit alongisde the Ecuadorian in his absence.

Attack

Cole Palmer looks as if he is fit after picking up a knock on international duty, and will start on the right of attack.

In the middle, Mykhailo Mudryk will look to continue his good form in the Number 10 role with another start.

On the left, Noni Madueke will be given a rare start after Raheem Sterling’s struggles see him needing some time on the bench.

Up front, Nicolas Jackson will continue his impressive run of form, where he is scoring or assisting near enough every time he plays.
