War will not end until Ukraine becomes strong: Zelenskyy outlines three conditions

The war with Russia will not cease until Ukraine becomes strong. To achieve this, our defenders need long-range missiles, artillery, and air defense systems, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"How long will the war last? In this situation, it will continue until Ukraine becomes strong. Ukraine is not as strong as it could be. We need to enable action on the battlefield," emphasized the head of state.

Zelenskyy clarified that for this purpose, Ukraine needs, firstly, Patriot systems, which the US can provide—they will help unlock the sky. Secondly, our country needs parity in artillery after Ukrainian defenders move forward. And the third condition is long-range missiles.

"If Russia knows that drones can hit them, they will shoot less. If they know that Ukraine has missiles as long-range as their Kh or Kinzhal, they will shoot less at people and energy infrastructure because Putin (Russian dictator Vladimir Putin) will fear that people will oust him from the Kremlin," added the head of state.

Assistance to Ukraine

It's worth noting that Western countries continue supplying arms to Ukraine to help defend against full-scale Russian invasion.

Currently, the main needs for Ukrainian defenders are air defense and artillery shells.

In particular, the issue of air defense has become even more critical as the occupiers have intensified missile strikes on Ukraine. Over the past few days, the enemy has conducted several mass shelling incidents.

The occupiers have been using ballistic missiles for their attacks. Ukraine has only a few anti-aircraft missile systems capable of shooting down such targets. One of them is the Patriot system.

On March 27, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called on our country's partners to transfer new Patriot systems. He reminded that their main purpose is to protect lives.
