Drinking Starbucks quality coffee at home just got easier

Starbucks is launching a whole new line of ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages for the coffee lover wanting to sip at home.

As the most popular coffee shop in America, Starbucks serves around 10 million customers a day. Now, in 2024, those customers don’t even have to visit a store to get their buzz.

ALERT: New Starbucks products

In a press release on Friday, Starbucks unveiled its new RTD drinks alongside refurbished packaging for its already-established range.

The first new RTD drink was the Oatmilk Frappuccino in both caramel waffle cookie and dark chocolate brownie. While Starbucks listed them as $3.99, it is ultimately up to retailers to decide the price point.

Next up was the new cold brew in can form, which comes in vanilla sweet cream, chocolate cream, and salted caramel cream. They were priced at $3.59. Starbucks is also releasing the cold brew in 40oz bottles for $6.29. They now come in caramel cream and oatmilk brown sugar.

Alongside the new drinks, Starbucks is repackaging some of its favorite products for a fresher, more modern feel. Drinks receiving an update include their triple shot energy drinks and the double shot energy drink.

This comes just a week after the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission recalled 440,500 Starbucks mugs. The metallic mugs in question, which come under the 24-171 recall number, were included in the 2023 holiday-branded gift sets.

“If microwaved or filled with extremely hot liquid, the mugs can overheat or break, posing burn and laceration hazards,” the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said. At the time of writing, there were 12 reported incidents including 9 burns or blisters on hands.
