After former President Donald Trump attended the funeral for slain New York City police officer Jonathan Diller, he reportedly spent $200 on fast food at a Long Island drive-in.

According to the New York Post, "While headed to his private jet 'en route back to Florida, Trump and his campaign staff traveled westbound on Merrick Road from the funeral home’s South Chapel location to the popular All American Drive-In, Trump’s senior adviser, Daniel Scavino Jr., posted on Facebook."

All American manager Richard Vultaggio revealed to reporters that Trump purchased 18 “double double” cheeseburgers, 10 hot dogs, two quarter-pounder hamburgers with cheese, 20 orders of French fries, and 10 orders of onion rings, along with numerous servings of ketchup and mustard.

According to the report, other patrons at the restaurant chipped in to pay for police who were there.

Diller was shot in the stomach and killed by a suspected career criminal while on patrol in Far Rockaway.

Trump's highly-publicized trip to attend the funeral, and his loud attacks on President Joe Biden for not doing the same, have raised criticism from many commentators who note the former president is still valorizing the January 6 defendants who were charged or convicted of assaulting police officers at the Capitol on that day.
