Sunderland ace goes viral

It was a great day for Sunderland fans around the globe throughout Easter weekend. The club finally ended their winless streak as they beat Cardiff 2-0 in Wales.

However, for one man it was left fortunate. Nectarios Triantis who joined Hibs on loan in January went viral on the weekend for a hilarious clip.

The Australian managed to kick the ball off his teammate’s head which then bounced back and hit his other teammates knocking them both to the ground.

Multiple Sunderland stars have been linked away from the Stadium of Light throughout the season. Jack Clarke and Jobe Bellingham have been two of the most prominent with Lazio circling.

Unfortunately, it looks as if departures are inevitable with Mike Dodds unable to pull off a promotion push since Michael Beale’s sacking.

One star who has now been linked away is Trai Hume. It has been reported that the Sunderland man is wanted by five clubs including Napoli.

Sunderland are yet to announce who their manager is going to be yet season. The club are set to keep Dodds until the summer after Beale was dismissed in February.

Multiple names have been linked to the role including Will Still and Steve Cooper. However, it seems the Sunderland board have a new favourite in the hunt for a new manager.

Paul Heckingbottom is now believed to be top of the Black Cats. He oversaw Sheffield United’s promotion last season before being sacked halfway through their Premier League campaign.
