A 31-year-old man was found dead in a basement apartment in Paterson early Monday following a fight, authorities aid.
Paterson police were called to the apartment in the area of Straight Street and 16th Avenue shorty before 2 a.m., the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office said.
The Paterson resident was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing. Additional information wasn’t immediately available.
