TV stars live in luxury villa for 8 weeks - it's so expensive, it'd pay your mortgage for 6 months

Lisa Vanderpump loves herself some interior design and she’s not stopping at her homes or restaurants based in the US. Her new show, Vanderpump Villa, is set at a 19th Century French villa and the reality star was eager to put her stamp on Chateau Rosabelle.

Big, dramatic chandeliers, dusky pink walls, fresh flowers, and mirrored consoles fill some of the Chateau Rosabelle rooms. Lisa showed fans around the reality TV show’s location in an in-depth tour with Architectural Digest this April. Lisa Vanderpump and her co-stars all lived in the villa together for the show’s duration.

Where is Chateau Rosabelle?

Vanderpump Villa – AKA Chateau Rosabelle – AKA Chateau St Joseph – is located in the French countryside.

The 19th-century property is specifically located in the area of Mazerolles-du-Razès.

The whimsical establishment appears to be something of dreams as Lisa says: “…it’s not just a hotel, it’s a fantasy.”

While the villa is offering sophistication and tranquility, the cast members’ drama could ruin everything as Lisa calls “emergency meetings” and tells her staff “this is a business.”

LVP lived alongside her staff for eight weeks during filming and said the experience was “glorious” given how much she loves France, speaking to E!.

Chateau Rosabelle cost

To stay at Chateau Rosabelle for one night, the 4-star 6-bedroom lodging suitable for 15 people costs just over $1,000.

However, single rooms at the property are much more affordable, costing around $120 per night.

Double rooms cost upwards of $150 and some come with stunning park views.

When it comes to the design of the accommodation, Lisa said she thinks: “Go big or go home” when it comes to designing a big space with high ceilings.

She has a full-time florist working at the villa, and brought over candle holders from one of her LA restaurants, a mirror, and outdoor chandeliers from Tom Tom to add vintage touches.
