Russia's losses in Ukraine as of April 4: 670 troops and 9 tanks

Ukrainian defenders have eliminated over 445,000 Russians since the onset of the full-scale enemy invasion. Just in the past day, Ukrainian Armed Forces took out 670 invaders, according to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

As of April 4, 2024, Russian losses in the war in Ukraine are estimated as follows:

  • Personnel: 445,040 (+670) individuals
  • Tanks: 7,018 (+9) units
  • APV (Armored personnel vehicles): 13,386 (+18) units
  • Artillery systems: 11,171 (+29) units
  • MLRS (Multiple launch rocket systems): 1,026 (+1) units
  • Anti aircraft warfare systems: 746 (+1) units
  • Aircraft: 347 units
  • Helicopters: 325 units
  • UAV operational-tactical level: 8,817 (+21) units
  • Cruise missiles: 2,059 units
  • Warships/boats: 26 units
  • Submarines: 1 unit
  • Vehicles and fuel tankers: 14,861 (+48) units
  • Special equipment: 1,845 (+7) units.

Frontline situation

Russian occupiers intensified assaults on the frontlines during winter. Specifically, Russians managed to seize Avdiivka and some neighboring villages. However, the Defense Forces maintain positions near Avdiivka, preventing the enemy from advancing further.

Additionally, Ukrainian military also reported that occupiers seek to capture Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region. Heavy fighting is also ongoing in the Kupiansk area of the Kharkiv region.
