'Did you see...': Ian Wright and Roy Keane in agreement as they predict winner of Wolves v West Ham

Wolves have had their chances against West Ham United predicted ahead of Saturday’s fixture, with Ian Wright and Roy Keane in agreement over the potential scoreline.

After drawing 1-1 to Burnley on Tuesday evening, Wolves return to action in the Premier League on Saturday to face West Ham United at Molineux.

Gary O’Neil will be hoping for some positive news on the injury front before the fixture, as the manager was left frustrated with his lack of squad depth following the draw with the Clarets.

It’s set to be another challenge for the Old Gold on Saturday, as West Ham arrive with a sense of unpredictability about them, with O’Neil hopeful that the lacklustre edition of his former playing club shows up.

Speaking ahead of the weekend’s games, the likes of Roy Keane and Ian Wright gave their opinion on what they think the score will be between Wolves and the Hammers.

Taking to episode 25 of the Stick to Football Podcast, Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Jill Scott, Wright and Keane gave their verdict ahead of the Old Gold’s clash with the Irons.

Neville started the debate by predicting a 1-1 scoreline, with Carragher agreeing and stating, “It’s got 1-1 written all over it.”

All of the panel did not share the prediction of a draw, as Arsenal legend Ian Wright predicted a 2-1 win for the Hammers, giving a special mention to Jarrod Bowen.

“West Ham 2-1, Jarrod Bowen away from home.”

Scott and Keane agreed with Wright’s call, as the famed striker was quick to mention the threat that West Ham showed in attack against Spurs, saying, “Did you see how many chances they missed?”

None of the panel were in favour of a home victory on Saturday, giving O’Neil even more of a reason to aim for three points against the East Londoners.

What is Gary O’Neil’s managerial record against West Ham?

While three points will be the only motivation needed for O’Neil to inspire his small squad, the manager will also want to attempt to brighten his record against West Ham.

As a manager, the boss has faced the Irons three teams, losing all three representing both Bournemouth and Wolves.

In his three meetings against West Ham, O’Neil has never coached a squad to even score against David Moyes’ side, with an aggregate score of his record versus his former club being 9-0.

Earlier in the season when the two sides met, Wolves suffered a 3-0 win at the London Stadium, on a day that saw Mohamed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen shine, two players the Old Gold will certainly fear on Saturday.

Only time will tell if Wolves catch West Ham on a good or a bad day, with the hope there that the Midlands club can keep the points at Molineux.
