Manchester United fans dropped their two cents on Antony’s performance after the Brazil winger made a superb impact against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Thursday evening.
Antony has faced mounting pressure during his Manchester United career after the Red Devils signed him in a deal worth a whopping £82m in 2022.
The 24-year-old Brazilian winger played under United boss Erik ten Hag at Ajax and Antony was reunited with the Dutchman at Old Trafford after his big-money move.
However, Antony has been fighting for his place in the starting XI at times and the United star has faced criticism over his lack of attacking contribution and form.
The Brazil international scored 10 times and registered five assists in 47 matches in the 2022-23 season, with Antony struggling in the current campaign as well.
Ahead of the Chelsea match, Antony had played 23 Premier League matches and had not picked up a single assist or found the back of the net in the league.

Antony makes his mark vs Chelsea
Erik ten Hag has kept faith with Antony amid the criticism and suggested the Manchester United star would eventually rediscover his Ajax form at Old Trafford.
Antony has admitted himself that he has been improving one area of his play style and the United winger has made his presence felt in recent weeks.
The Brazil winger came off the bench and scored a crucial equaliser during United’s FA Cup quarter-final clash against Liverpool at Old Trafford last month.
However, Antony started out on the right for the Chelsea match and the United star produced a sensational display in the Premier League defeat at Stamford Bridge.
Antony was lively in the United attack and registered his first assist in the league this season with a sensational pass to Alejandro Garnacho in the second half.
With the scores level at 2-2 in the second half, Antony played an exquisite ball with the outside of his left boot during a United counterattack.
The ball perfectly found Alejandro Garnacho and the United winger beat Chelsea’s Djordje Petrovic to complete his brace.
Despite Antony and Garnacho impressing on the night, Cole Palmer scored twice deep in injury time to complete his hat-trick and sealed a 4-3 win for Chelsea.

United fans on social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, felt that Antony deserved a lot more after a calamitous collapse from United in injury time.
“This has to be Antony’s best performance in a United shirt,” one fan said.
Someone else commented: “People will still hesitate to acknowledge Antony has been fantastic going forward against Chelsea.”
Another wrote: “Antony [has been] absolutely superb this match. What an assist!”
“Antony is doing all sorts of violation to [Marc] Cucurella tonight,” a fourth wrote.
While a fifth posted: “What a ball for the goal. Gotta give him his flowers today, he’s been fantastic.”
Somebody else tweeted: “That was a season-redemption pass from Antony. I’ll allow.”
And a seventh simply said: “This Antony redemption is everything I wished for.”
