Rock, Paper, Scissors is a food challenge on TikTok

The food challenge sees two people play Rock, Paper Scissors with their favorite food as the winning prize.

However, there isn’t a single winner in the game and the participants get to binge on their favorite food each time they bag a point.

But, there’s a catch and perhaps a healthy one. While the person who beat their opponent gets to eat, the latter has to run a short distance and return to the original spot in the meantime.

The game resumes again as the participants try to beat each other to stuff themselves with more food.

The challenge comes to an end once all the food is eaten. Simple and fun. Isn’t it? TikTok users are thoroughly enjoying the new trend.

“I love this challenge because I hate to share my food. LOL,” said one user.

Another added: “This is so much better than just playing rock, paper, scissors.”

“I can’t wait to do this with my foodie brother,” wrote a third person.

Be careful though

Although the TikTok trend seems fun, you need to be mindful of the amount of food you consume in a rush.

The videos on TikTok show a lot of participants stuffing themselves with food and soft drinks just to win the challenge, but this isn’t advisable as it can cause you to choke.

Taking large bites and washing them down with soft drinks can also cause discomfort in your food pipe when you try to forcefully swallow the large bites.

Furthermore, there are chances of choking on water or other liquids while participating in the challenge. According to CPR Select, it’s possible to choke on the liquid you accidentally inhale into the windpipe instead of swallowing into the esophagus.

If you’re still determined to take part in the Rock, Paper, Scissors food challenge, we recommend taking smaller bites and chewing them thoroughly before swallowing. Make sure you aren’t out of breath from running when you ea or drink anything.

It’s alright to take a little longer to finish the game than putting your health at risk.
