On300 OL Ziyare Addison says Colorado felt like home

Tampa (Fla.) Sumner On300 offensive tackle Ziyare Addison spent much of his week at Colorado, and loved his experience with Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes program.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Addison gave On3 the highlights from his trip.

“Coach Prime’s vision for the program and myself is next level,” Addison said. “I love how he connects with the players, you can really tell he cares. Adding Coach Phil (Loadholt) to the staff was big deal for me, I love his approach to the game. The great relationship I built with Coach (Devin) Rispress is super big for me.

“Colarado feel like home.”

Colorado will battle powerhouse programs for Addison

The Buffaloes are squarely in the mix alongside the likes of Florida State, Miami, Penn State, USC, UCLA, Stanford and Oregon among others for Addison, who is tabbed by the On3 Industry Ranking as the country’s No. 17 offensive tackle and No. 196 prospect overall. He sees tremendous opportunity at Colorado and looks forward to getting back in the future.

“Having the chance to compete for playing time and leaving a legacy under these coaches and contribute to bringing winning culture back to the program – that’s what gets me excited!” Addison explained.
