In a calculated assault, Russian forces utilized S-300 missiles to strike Kharkiv and its surrounding areas twice, targeting residential buildings, educational facilities, and crucial civilian infrastructure. The city was rocked by a second barrage of missiles less than thirty minutes after the initial attack, intensifying the devastation.

The Russians attacked Kharkiv and the Oblast with S-300 missiles, hitting the city twice, and deliberately targeting residential high-rises, kindergartens, and the city's civilian infrastructure, he said. The second shelling started less than half an hour later.

Russians destroyed a gas station, damaged power lines, and created two gaps, each 5 by 5 meters in size, in the middle of the damaged nine-story buildings, Bolvinov said.

Russia launched a new combined attack on Ukraine with cruise missiles from Tu-95MS aircraft and drones overnight on April 6.

Ukraine's Air Forces neutralized three out of six varied missiles and 28 out of 32 Shahed kamikaze drones.
