Arsenal fans are all saying the same thing about Kai Havertz after 3-0 Brighton win

Arsenal fans have now given their verdict on the performance that Kai Havertz produced against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.

Kai Havertz was instrumental to the Gunners’ 3-0 win against Brighton at the Amex Stadium.

Once again tasked with leading the line for Arsenal, the German provided an effective focal point for Mikel Arteta’s side. He was also able to make a vital contribution to the scoreline as he chipped in with a goal and an assist.

Kai Havertz produced a mature performance as Arsenal beat Brighton

Ahead of this clash against the south coast club, Havertz stated that there would be spaces and opportunities for him to exploit in the game. The 24-year-old went into the match ready to take advantage of any chance that came his way. From the first whistle he was physical and energetic as he sought to press high and make his presence felt in duels.

However, the former Chelsea man had to be careful, too. Havertz was aware of his worrying yellow card situation heading into this match. The 44-cap Germany international is one booking away from a two-match Premier League ban, as he will then have received ten yellow cards. However, after 32 matches, that threat will be withdrawn as the yellow card limit is then reset.

The Gunners have now played 31 Premier League games this season, meaning that Havertz only has one more outing to negotiate with this threat of suspension hanging over him.

The loss of Havertz for two matches would come as a major blow. He has been in fine form in recent weeks and has now arguably established himself as Arteta’s first-choice striker. Havertz even recently took his tally of goal contributions for Arsenal this season to a figure beyond anything he achieved in his time at Stamford Bridge.

Against the Seagulls, he showed great penalty box instincts to connect with Jorginho’s cut-back and put Arsenal 2-0 up in the 62nd minute. In the dying moments he then produced a clever touch to release Leandro Trossard, who then wrapped up the result against his former club.

After the match, plenty of Arsenal fans took to X to share their views of Havertz’s display. One supporter said, “brilliant. It’s great to see him grow into the team. Confidence off the charts.”

Another fan stated, “Kai Havertz CF, I’ll keep saying it, there’s so much potential. Away from home his physicality offers an escape route. Constant nuisance for Dunk/Van Hecke, facilitated across the entire frontline, created big moments, strikers instinct for the goal +put Trossard through. Class.”

One supporter claimed, “He’s a great player. Really pleased he signed for us.” One chipped in with, “Up there as one of the player of our season!!!”
