Live Updates: Tennessee looks to pull even with Auburn in game 2

Tennessee is on the comeback trail down in Auburn, looking to pull even at one game apiece in the three game series with game two set for 4:30 pm eastern time Saturday afternoon on The Plains.

The No. 4 Vols (24-6, 5-5 SEC) plated three runs in the first and two more in the second inning of Friday’s game one, but it was not enough to slow down the hot-hitting home team as the Tigers (18-11, 2-8 SEC), who never trailed at the end of any inning, poured it on for five runs in the first, three in the second and one more in the sixth inning.

Right-handed starter Drew Beam (3-1, 4.06 ERA) will look to bounce back from a rough outing his last time out. The junior also looks to stop the bleeding for Tennessee’s first two weekend starters of late. He’ll be countered by fellow righty Connor McBride (3-1, 4.21 ERA) of Auburn

Tennessee and Auburn will be streamed on the SEC Network+.
