Kharkiv officials report two waves of Shahed drone attacks overnight, injuring three elderly people

A 62-year-old man was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds, while a 64-year-old woman and an 87-year-old man were treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Ten private homes, a kindergarten, three five-story buildings, and three cars were damaged in the attack.

One hour later, at 01:40 a.m. EET, the enemy carried out the second Shahed kamikaze drone attack on the Lozov and Kharkiv districts of the city. No casualties were reported.

The day before, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported two precision-guided bomb strikes of the city by the Russian military, killing at least one civilian and injuring several others.

Seventeen Shahed-131/136 drones were intercepted overnight, the Ukrainian Air Force reported on April 7.
