Over the last day, 67 combat engagements were registered in the frontline. At the same time, Ukrainian aviation struck 13 areas where enemy personnel and weapons were concentrated, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian attacks
In total, the enemy launched 6 missile and 72 air strikes, fired 39 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas. Russian terrorist attacks resulted in deaths and injuries among the civilian population.
Situation at the frontlines
The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissia directions has not changed significantly. There are no signs of enemy offensive groups forming.
On the Siversk and Slobozhanske directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shells settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine.
The enemy conducted air strikes in the areas of Zolochiv, Mali Prokhody, Vovchansk in Kharkiv region and the city of Kharkiv. About 15 localities came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions, but conducted an air strike near the village of Berestove, Kharkiv region. About 15 settlements, including Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka and Kotlyarivka in Kharkiv region, came under artillery and mortar fire.
In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled two enemy attacks near Terny, Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops. More than 10 localities suffered from artillery and mortar attacks, including Terny, Yampolivka, Torske in the Donetsk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out 26 attacks in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Vyymka, Fedorivka, Rozdolivka, Vesele, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to improve the tactical situation.
The enemy also launched air strikes near Chasiv Yar, Diliyivka, and New York in the Donetsk region. More than 10 localities came under artillery and mortar fire, including Bohdanivka, Kalynivka and Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, our defenders repelled 5 attacks near Pervomayske, Nevelske, Netaylove in Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried to force our units out of their positions.
The enemy also launched air strikes near Novobakhmutivka, Novoselivka Persha, Ocheretyno, Yasnobrodivka in Donetsk Oblast. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Semenivka, Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka, where the enemy tried to break through the defense of our troops 17 times. The enemy launched air strikes near Novomykhailivka, Vodiane and Urozhayne in the Donetsk region.
More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Heorhiivka, Paraskoviivka, Kostiantynivka, and Vuhledar in the Donetsk region.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, carried out 2 attacks on the positions of our defenders in the areas of Staromayorske, Donetsk region, and Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy also launched air strikes near the settlements of Orikhiv and Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia region.
About 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Poltavka, Malynivka, Chervone, Bilohirya, Novodanylivka, Shcherbaky in Zaporizhzhia region.
In the Kherson direction, the enemy does not abandon its intention to push our units from the footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro River. Thus, during the day, the enemy made 8 unsuccessful attacks on the positions of our troops. More than 10 settlements came under enemy fire, including the towns of Kherson, Zmiivka, Krynky, and Tyahynka in Kherson Oblast.
Strikes of the Ukrainian Armed Forces against the Russians
During the day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck 1 control point, 3 anti-aircraft missile systems, 1 communication tower and 13 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy.
The missile troops destroyed 1 anti-aircraft missile system, 1 UAV control center, 1 artillery system, 3 areas of concentration of enemy weapons and military equipment.
