Tottenham got themselves another win today against Nottingham Forest and former Man United defender Nemanja Vidic was very impressed with one player.
Tottenham saw off Forest after a much improved second half performance got them over the line against former manager, Nuno Santo.
For Ange Postecoglou, it was yet another big second half performance that did the trick and there’s a feeling he’s working some magic at half-time most weeks now.

In the end, it was two defenders who got the goals Spurs needed for the win. Pedro Porro got his first of the season, while Dutch defender Micky van de Ven also rifled in a fine finish.
Of course, Van de Ven has been one of the huge plus points of this season for Tottenham.
The summer signing has been outstanding when fit and his goal today was well received by everyone inside the ground – barring the away fans and bench.
And speaking about Van de Ven after the game, former Man United man Nemanja Vidic admitted he was really impressed.

Commenting on the big Dutchman for Premier League Productions, Vidic admitted he feels there’s even more to a come from the ‘fantastic’ Van de Ven.
“It is always nice to score a goal as a defender. It gives you confidence in future games. I hit loads like that…in training! I think he’s a young boy and there is more to come from him. He is a fantastic defender,” Vidic said.
Van de Ven is very much turning into one of the signings of the season. And that’s not just at Tottenham.
The Dutchman has rapid pace to his game and that simply compliments everything else that is good about the defensive part of his game.
Of course, at just 22, Van de Ven can go on and be even better.
Tottenham, then, look like they’ve got themselves an absolute gem of a signing here.
