Gedney Hill Golf Club lost two members to pancreatic cancer in 2021 and ladies captain Chris Bennett nominated Pancreatic Cancer UK as her chosen charity during her term in 2023.
Everyone at the club got on board with club captain Rob Bye and seniors skipper Steve Steels donating the monies made on their captain's days.
Kevin King organised a skydive with his work colleagues from Earls Scaffolding Ltd and other fundraising events were held at the club throughout the year.
In total, the club raised £5,850 for the charity which was way beyond all expectations.
