The music star’s devoted following like to discuss all things Tay-Tay on social media, and a potential engagement is never off-limits as a topic. The celebrity has been dating Travis Kelce for seven months now, and thankfully, it’s going better than any of her break-up anthems. Despite her long list of ex-lovers, the 34-year-old seems smitten with her NFL star on her arm. But Taylor Swift fans feel even if she and Travis Kelce were engaged – and had a wedding – she’d keep it on the down low.

Swifties support the celebrity couple, just a scroll through any form of social media appears to show that in all forms.
On Reddit, some of her fans feel if Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce did decide to have a wedding, they’d be the last to know – if at all, that is.
When one user asked fellow listeners to predict how Tay-Tay would tell fans about the special announcement, they suggested they make up captions for her to use on Instagram.
One of the easiest and prominent would of course be, “It’s a Love Story and I said Yes”, as cliché and cute as it is.
But others pointed out, as private as Tay-Tay is, even when she appears to connect with her fans, she may not tell anyone.
One fan believes: “If he does pop the question, it’s likely to be in private and then an announcement later on after the wedding is well over and done with. Weddings are stressful enough without being the biggest pop star in the world and the biggest NFL player RN.”
They continued: “I think, if we’re talking Taylor [Swift] and Travis [Kelce] here, they’re likely to get engaged and married before ever announcing it to the public officially, but there will be hints and tells.”
A second added: “My thoughts are they’d only tell close family and friends and then do a Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds and just announce that they’re married.”
And a third penned: “I don’t think she’ll announce anything, but it would be funny if she posted a wedding shot and captioned it “officially stepdad” with the cats.”
That sounds about right.
While a third speculated: “They will invite people to a no cameras party and get married. No prior announcement.”
Could this be the year?
While the duo have only been officially dating less than a year, they seem to be enjoying it.
The couple have been enjoying some downtime in LA, with Travis Kelce seemingly to be staying at Taylor’s house recently.
They enjoyed a dinner date in Malibu before a gym session in a California site as well.
It comes as Tay-Tay takes a well-earned break during her record-breaking Eras Tour. The next leg, in Europe, will see her start back on stage in mid-May, before jet-setting to England.
But it could be an awkward summer for her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn. As Travis Kelce has hinted, he’ll be in London supporting her, like he has for her other shows Down Under and in Argentina.
