West Virginia forward Josiah Harris plans to enter NCAA transfer portal

West Virginia forward Josiah Harris plans to enter the NCAA transfer portal, he announced Monday via X. He spent the past two seasons with the Mountaineers and will have two years of college eligibility remaining.

Harris played 32 games with 13 starts this past season to average 5.0 points and 4.1 rebounds across 19.6 minutes per game. Standing 6-foot-7, his range extends beyond the 3-point line where he has shot 32% for his college career.

As a recruit, Harris was a three-star prospect out of Richmond Heights High School in Cleveland, Ohio. He ranked as the No. 154 overall player and No. 26 power forward in the 2022 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
