Russia's losses in Ukraine as of April 9: 850 invaders and 30 artillery systems

Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine as of the morning of Tuesday, April 9, amount to 850 occupants, bringing the total number of Russian army losses since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine to 449,250. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 23 tanks, 45 armored personnel carriers, and 30 artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 22 to April 09, 24 are estimated to be:

  • personnel - about 449,250 (+850) Russian invaders were eliminated;
  • tanks - 7110 (+23) units;
  • armored personnel carriers - 13620 (+45) units;
  • artillery systems - 11,386 (+30) units;
  • MLRS - 1039 units;
  • air defense systems - 753 (+2) units;
  • airplanes - 347 units;
  • helicopters - 325 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 9033 (+37) units;
  • cruise missiles - 2065 units;
  • ships/boats - 26 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tankers - 15181 (+71) units;
  • special equipment - 1868 (+1) units.

The situation at the front

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reports on the advance of Russian occupants near Kreminna, Luhansk region; northwest of Bakhmut and southwest of Donetsk, Donetsk region.

There were 56 combat engagements in the frontline over the last day. Russians attacked the Novopavlivka direction the most, the occupants tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops 26 times.
