'For me, personally': Gabriel Jesus makes big claim about Harry Kane ahead of Arsenal vs Bayern Munich

Arsenal take on Bayern Munich tonight, and Gabriel Jesus has had his say on Harry Kane, who used to play for Tottenham Hotspur until last summer.

The Gunners have been in incredible form this year, haven’t they? They are unbeaten in the Premier League in 2024, and are currently on top of the table.

Arsenal‘s great performances have convinced many people that they are the favourites against Bayern Munich in the Champions League tonight.

One man who would love nothing more than to knock Arsenal out of the competition is Kane, who still adores the Gunners’ North London rivals, Tottenham.

Gabriel Jesus makes claim on Harry Kane before Arsenal vs Bayern Munich

Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus, on his day, can be a real handful as a number nine.

The Brazilian’s movement, skills and work rate in and around the box cause a lot of chaos to the opposition defenders, and that is why Mikel Arteta rates him very highly.

However, Jesus comes under a lot of criticism for his lack of goals as a striker.

That is arguably one of the reasons why he has lost his place in the side to Kai Havertz, who, as a centre-forward in the Premier League, has scored four goals and provided five assists in just seven starts up front.

One player who is a complete forward is Bayern Munich star Harry Kane. The former Tottenham striker drops deep and links play up like Jesus does but still manages to score a ton of goals.

That’s probably why the Brazilian is such a huge fan of Kane and has branded him as ‘the best finisher in the world’ right now.

Jesus said, as relayed on HaytersTV: “Everyone here knows the quality of Harry Kane. For me, personally, he is the best finisher in the world. So, it’s great to play against this kind of players, and obviously, we want to keep him quiet in the game and then we try to win the game.

“In my opinion, he can finish with head, with left, with right, he’s a good finisher. The guy, since I arrived in Europe, for me, is in that time one of the best, and this time for me is the best finisher in the world.”

Worrying Harry Kane stat that should really concern Arsenal

Arsenal fans know all about Harry Kane thanks to his time at Tottenham.

The Englishman will almost definitely receive a hostile reception at the Emirates Stadium tonight, but Kane will come to North London with a ton of confidence.

Stats show that the Bayern Munich man has a terrific record against Arsenal.

Kane has scored 14 goals and provided three assists against the Gunners in 19 appearances in all competitions over the years.

He loves playing against Arsenal, and we’re sure every Tottenham fan will be rooting for him in the quarter-final tonight.
