The German was once again important to Spurs’ win against Nottingham Forest this weekend, and it really does look as though the German is settling in north London now.
Werner is putting in some very impressive performances on the pitch, and, by the sounds of it, he’s also doing the right things behind the scenes too.
Indeed, according to Alasdair Gold, speaking on the Gold and Guest Talk Tottenham Podcast, people at Tottenham only have good things to say about Werner behind the scenes at Spurs.

According to Gold, players, coaching staff and other staff have all been impressed by Werner’s personality and attitude.
“I really like Timo Werner, I really do, I’ve been speaking to a lot of people in the club about him, whether that’s his teammates, coaching staff, people in various departments, they all say the same thing. What a lovely down-to-earth guy he is,” Gold said.
Ange Postecoglou will love Werner
Of course, performances on the pitch are what matters the most in this game, but don’t underestimate just how important it is to have the right characters in a team too.
Ange Postecoglou has always been clear that his policy is to have a team that gels together in every possible way, and having someone like Werner around can only be a positive in that regard.
Football can be a game filled with egos, but, by the sounds of it, Werner has his head screwed on, and that’s something that Postecoglou does really value.
The £15m man will surely be signed by Spurs on a permanent basis this summer when his current loan deal comes to an end.
